4000 square feet of family fun with more than 1,800 houses and over 18,000 hand painted little people. The Osoyoos Desert Model Railroad is Canada’s largest Marklin lay-out, with more than 45 computer controlled trains running throught very detailed landscaping with European style towns and houses.
I visited for a second time, just two days before they closed permanently on Sept 7, 2021. The Covid lockdown coupled with the advanced age of the owners prompted them to make the decision to close after 18 years.
